One of the things we LOVE to do is talk with interested folks about what's coming up with The Jekyll Island Chronicles. When a book is getting ready to hit stores, it seems like that's all you do. If "location, location, location" is the mantra for real estate folks, "promote, promote, promote" is for authors with a book launching. A couple months ago we were able to sit down with our friend Armand Rosamilia with the Arm Cast Podcast and talk about the process and final product for Book Two of JIC: A Devil's Reach. You can listen to it here: http://armcast.projectentertainment.libsynpro.c...

InterviewWe had a great opportunity recently to be on camera together with Titania Jordan with 3Ci’s program Connect. She was a great host and spent a lot of time with us, asking a lot of smart questions about The Jekyll Island Chronicles. We give you more interesting perspectives in this interview, as we delve into some of the “why” issues that we worked on this book. If you wanted to see Jack, Ed and Steve live on video telling the tale, this was the first time we did something like this. It’s kinda like our version of an interview in Hall H at ComicCon. But without Hall H. And without ComicCo...
Video InterviewDuring the 2016 ComicCon, Susan Karlin from Fast Company did a lengthy interview with us. This one was a iittle different for us, since we talked not only about the book, but we also talked about what lessons three middle-aged guys learned from being business and how it helped them prepare to be graphic novel creators. Susan asked good business questions and dug into our careers, so you will find some interesting stuff in here that you may not find other places. Guess when you get older, you have more life experiences that can help you along the way. So, that’s a plus…
InterviewThe Wake Forest Magazine (Steve’s alma mater) interviewed us. The thing to look for here is the shot of the room where we room. Steve decked out his basement room to be nothing but comic books, MAD magazines, graphic novels, and his old (and new) superhero figure models. We write and talk, surrounded by not only our work, but by work from classic artists like Jack Kirby, John Romita, Mort Drucker, Jack Davis, and Joe Kubert. It’s an inspirational explosion of for comic books geeks and fan boys and a taste of hell for minimalists who want everything clean. Oh well…
